#77 MainGuard Post Hydrant

The MainGuard model #77 blowoff provides the best in performance and value! Designed and engineered specifically for flushing, the #77 provides excellent flow rates (see flow rate chart in specifications tab) for improving chlorine residual levels and flushing by-products to keep water “fresh”. Its unique valve design allows for a full “clear-channel” flow that is superior to other blowoffs for moving water and passing debris easily. The #77 plunger is also designed to allow for throttling water flow while at the same time covering the drain hole to avoid unnecessary erosion.

The MainGuard model #77 comes standard with all brass and aluminum working parts, nozzle sizes 2 ½” NST or smaller, traffic break-away, self draining non-freezing drain, 2” FIP vertical (straight) inlet, locking security cover (see options tab for more information), and low-lead option available.  And, as with all Kupferle products, the MainGuard model #77 is fully serviceable from above ground – no digging!
